On the stove, heat the oil in a large pan. When hot, add the meat, and as the meat begins to brown, add the package contents (4.5 oz) and thoroughly combine.
Add 4 1/2 cups of water. Stir to combine, and simmer for 40 minutes.
This makes a good, spicy dish with its combination of New Mexico and arbol chiles. If you want more heat, add a tablespoon of our habanero powder to set things on fire! For less heat, add a can of stewed tomatoes or kidney beans. And add cheese and a dollop of sour cream if you really want to customize it. Any way you serve it, it’s a great meal.
