Chile Habañero Sauce
Ingredients
- 5 Los Chileros Habañero Chiles seeds removed and sliced
- 2 carrots thinly sliced
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- salt and freshly ground pepper
- 250 ml water
Instructions
- Finely process the carrots and habañero peppers in a food processor or high-powered blender.
- Heat the oil in a sauce pan and add the minced garlic.
- Add the ground carrot and habañero chile mixture. Saute all until carrots are soft.
- Stir in the vinegar.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add water and simmer until the sauce has thickened to taste.
