Salsa de Chile de Arbol
Ingredients
- 8-10 Los Chileros Chiles de Arbol
- 12-15 tomatillos remove husks and rinse
- 3 cloves garlic peeled
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- In a frying pan or comal, toast tomatillos until slightly charred (approximately 10 minutes). Set aside.
- Lower heat and toast chiles de arbol turning them around every few seconds. Be careful – they burn easily.
- Combine ingredients in a blender and blend to desired consistency. The thicker the better – about 7 seconds. Makes a great table sauce.
